ART BIOGRAPHY
At age six, I knew I wanted to be an artist.
At age six, I knew I wanted to be an artist.
I paint from my art studio in Gainesville, Florida. My paintings of nature and human nature are inspired by subtropical scenery and wildlife and people who appreciate the outdoors. I paint on canvas, wood, cork, and unconventional materials. I also create eco-art with palm bark and other foraged gifts from nature.

In the 1970s I served as Consultant in Ceramics for The Metropolitan Museum of Art and ran a clay studio, school and gallery by the Brooklyn Bridge.

I practice a daily meditation that supports, enriches and fills me with gratitude. My artwork is an effort to express those good feelings.
